Keane Inc. in the capacity of INFORMATICA Database Administrator.
Developed business and data conversion strategies and coordinated all aspects of Data
Management. Led the Data Warehousing and Knowledge Management efforts to effectively
capture and disseminate knowledge within an organization. Planned the data integration and
conversion processes for Data Warehouse projects ensuring the smooth transition between
diverse database systems.
Job Duties (Informatica Admin):

Informatica Project: CBS Datamart
Corporate Brokerage Services (CBS): CBS is a data management and analytical facility to
support the brokerage account business for the Allmerica Financial advisor group. This
facility is utilized to: support financial advisors with electronic record keeping,
support compliance in the monitoring and supervision of sales practices, the first phase
covered target customer, account, transactional, positions, account balances, and
suitability data for feeds from National Financial (Fidelity), DST FanMail, NSCC, IPS, and
NLS, as well as Vantage and Beacon proprietary annuity products.
Currently the Brokerage Services data exists in an Oracle database on a shared server and
is accessed via the eFirm website. The access is provided through Java servlets, in turn
creating DHTML for viewing on the website.
The process of extraction, transformation, and loading into the CBS datamart takes place
nightly and then integrated with the data that exists from the other external feeds. The
National Financial (Phase I of the CBS project) source data is stored in its own set of
tables separate from the other sources (DST, NLS, NSCC, Vantage, and Beacon).
The data for accounts, balances, bookkeeping customers, and positions are extracted from
the database and loaded into the CBS datamart. Full conversions are run initially and are
followed by the daily deltas (the new daily files received).

Project: Stock Management Control System
Part of a three-member team. This is an on-line Inventory Data Management Control System
to keep track and maintain the stock in works. System will register all Goods/ Raw
materials that are coming to the stores. Goods Received Note (GRN) will be generated
through the system and Stock Ledger is updated for every transaction. When issues to Sub-
Contractor/Issues to Customer are made, Issue Slip will be generated by the system.
Delivery Challan (DC) is also generated through the system. It also generates various
reports like stock statement, materials lying with sub-contractor; materials ready for
dispatching, Item wise stock statement, Customer wise etc.
Responsibilities involved designing of the database using normalization, coding &
implementation. Item master Maintenance screens with all proper validations. Data entry
screens for add/modify & delete for GRN, Material Issues & Delivery Challan (DC). Interact
with user departments to gather their requirements and design as per the specifications.

information to be stored in the database. Developing highly parameterized forms and
representing the logical description of the database in the same manner as ordinary data.

services are also provided on this particular site. The site also provides search for
various doctors, diagnostic centers, hospitals, Blood banks, chemists, various
registration for doctors, Organ/blood donors, Diagnostics centers, Chemists/ Medical
stores, Hospitals, Blood banks. The site also deals with placements of the candidates.
Chat is also incorporated on the site.

and statistical reports for management of daily and future planning. Maintained and

Basic responsibility involved overlooking the functioning of the PCs (including hardware
and software) and reporting the hardware/software anomalies. Also managed Oracle
application Autodeal developed exclusively for Hyundai, India. Primary application
features included registering, invoicing, and billing advice number from the billing
department where it is registered with the relevant data gathered from billing advice file
and passed for registration. The objective of the application was to automate and reduce
data entry time. Various reports such as balance billing, party wise, schedule wise, bill
wise can be generated for any given period. Included a certain amount of SQL querying.
