- presentAgfa Div. of Bayer. Optical Engineer - Designing and
modifying optical systems for manufacturing.
Development of test fixtures for both engineering and production.
Supporting production from assembly, individual
testing, to system wide testing. Responsible for ensuring all optical
components are within specification and all optical
assemblies operate under precise conditions. Responsible for testing
of all new optical components for proper specs.

Senior Scientist in researching problems and solutions to optical
fingerprint recognition system. Tested materials
and searched for ideal materials and material characteristics for
maximum efficiency and contrast. Also tested for
ease of manufacturing without specific demands on tolerances.
Designed, fabricated and tested optical grating to detect wavelengths
from far IR. to submillimeter range.
Graduated on Deans List. Exceptional laboratory, writing, and
communication skills, extremely motivated and dedicated, and have
ability to lead any team. Presented at the first annual Conference on
Advanced Trends in Photonics Systems and Materials. Participated in
the 1996 SPIE student paper contest. Served on numerous committees at
UML dealing with student and university issues.
OPTICAL PROGRAMS: Zemax, Spy Glass, Beam 4, WinLens 2.0.
Programming: C, C++, Visual C++, Pascal, BASIC, Assembly, HTML and
other WWW applications..
Operating Systems: UNIX, Windows (95), DOS, VAX-VMS.
Applications: MS-Word, Excel, Lotus123, WordPerfect, MathCad, Matlab,
Mathematica, Labview, and many other applications for IBM and MAC. As
well as MS office 97.
