INTRODUCTION
I have devoted my career to the evolution of the Quality Systems
Programs of the bakeries of Hostess Brands/Interstate Brands Corporation, from
the initiating and implementing of HACCP programs to the achievement of GFSI
BRC Certification Grade A of 33 of 36 IBC Bakeries.
In 1981, HACCP was new to bakeries. I was instrumental in developing
and implementing a HACCP program for the snack cake bakery where I was
Quality Control Manager and in transitioning the culture of that bakery from
quality control to quality assurance during my tenure there.
In 2004, our corporate Manufacturing Strategy management determined
to transition all bakeries, both bread and snack cake, to become GFSI BRC
Certified. At that time I transitioned into Area Quality Manager, responsible for
seventeen bread and snack cake bakeries in the assessment of their existing
programs and development and implementation of quality systems programs
toward their GFSI BRC Certifications.
In 2005, I transitioned into the Manufacturing Strategy's Material Change
and Quality Manager role. This role included the corporate transition into the
SAP system and the data cleanup management that was required from switching
from our former accounting management system to SAP. I was also actively
involved with the process of placing a Quality Assurance Manager in each of our
bread bakeries and developing the new job requirements and setting up the
departments in each bakery, writing new and updating current corporate policies
and procedures toward the BRC Certifications and helping the bakeries and the
corporate departments implement and manage these policies and procedures.
From 2007 to present, I shifted focus from the BRC Certification
maintenance and evolution toward changing requirements to managing the
interface between major customers and the production facilities to assure each
bakery met and exceeded the individual customer's food safety requirements
both for branded and private label products. I coordinated our bakery quality
systems documentation that was required via the customer's private web-based
data systems, iCiX, our intranet SharePoint system, and email communications.

SUMMARY
I am detail oriented and quickly learn how to understand and use web-
based data systems. My education degree provided me with
strong, effective skills in training and motivating employees. I am a strong team
member yet also a self-starter in that I developed the last three positions
I held at IBC in order to meet a developing need toward the organization's
continuous improvement and customer requirements. I historically am
dedicated to my employer as evidenced with my longevity with one company. I
believe I would be able to become a valued and respected employee and
leader in many different career options.
