EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
EIGHT years of professional and educational counseling experience, mainly related in the field of drugs and alcohol. Both my internships at the Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit at Citrus Health Network, Inc. and the Day Treatment Program at the Community Supervision and Corrections Department focused on different aspects of the social service field, so as to gain a holistic approach. My previous employment at Austin Recovery inspired me to pursue a career in Social Work, evoking in me a passion towards educating and advocating for mental/behavioral health disorders, family violence, addictions, sexually transmitted infections, and homelessness. I am currently pursing a Clinical Social Work license with an expected completion in 2013.
