I am an experienced 45 year old female care giver seeking a live in position.

I have a valid VA drivers license and my own fully insured vehicle, am drug and disease free and do not drink. I am a U.S. resident and I have a clean legal back ground.

My services include but are not limited to :

Assisting with patient bathing, dressing, feeding and personal care, cooking, housekeeping and laundry. I have experience in wound care, transferring from wheelchair to bed, chair etc. massage therapy, and administering medications. I provide help with errands (within reason ) going through mail, letter writing, paying bills etc. as needed and will provide transport to the doctor, hair appointments. and daily activities such as the park, library, senior center etc as patient is able.

I have experience with the need to thicken liquids and alter diets re: high blood pressure, diabetes etc. and have experience with dementia patients as well.

I love to knit, crochet, read ( for myself as well as aloud for the visually impaired ) and craft. I am reliable, responsible and truly love to help families keep their loved ones in their own home for as long as possible - this includes being willing & able to work with visiting nurses & hospice if need be. Our elders deserve to be treated with dignity and respect and I strive to provide both as well as support to the family.

I have many character and work references available upon request. My last pt. passed away this month of natural causes and I am looking for a new live in arrangement with room and board as soon as possible . Salary is required and negotiable.
