I have been with the company for five and half years, working at the store level for three years, and as a traveling merchandiser for two and a half years. I've traveled from state to state opening up new stores and renovating old ones. This job requires all of my time and effort, and each project can range from three to eight weeks with very little time off. The hours worked were between eight and sixteen hour days. My reason for wanting to leave Academy is because our company recently has had some new changes that aren't in favor of the merchandising department. I'm ready to establish myself at home again, and ready for a new challenge.
