EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Started shipboard employment in the unlicensed engine department position of wiper aboard

deep sea vessels. Majority of sea time employment has been as a Chief Engineer on numerous

deep sea steam, motor, and gas turbine DP vessels.

During vacation/rotation periods from vessel employment worked and gained proficiency in

all the trades at various shipyards.

Licensed as a chief engineer of steam, motor, or gas turbine vessels of any horsepower.

Employed as a chief engineer for Noble Drilling Services on drill ships and am currently

serving as a chief engineer for Noble on an FSPO DP vessel powered by a gas turbine and

diesel electric propulsion system.

Experience with diesel electric and gas turbine propulsion systems, DP installations,

programmable motor controllers, variable frequency drive motor controllers, and automation

and monitoring systems sense there inception to the current state of the art technology.

Obtained a Master s degree in Business Administration in 2002 to compliment engineering

knowledge and experience. Also recently obtained a Master oceans license for the same

purpose.

Attended what is recognized as the most practical schools in the country for welding,

fitting, electricity, electronics, instrumentation, HVAC/R, pneumatics, hydraulics, and

machine shop operation. Currently during my rotation off time taking electronic,

electrical, and instrumentation courses at the Shell Robert Training Center and National

Oilwell Vargo Training Center.

Gained experience with shipyard employment for each of the above referenced trades during

rotation off time from vessel employment. Extensive shipyard experience with new build and

conversion installations. Am also proficient with Primavaria scheduling/time impact

analysis and Microsoft Project software.
