I am a 27 year old young woman living in CT. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Social Work in May 2009 from Anna Maria College in Massachusetts. While working toward my under graduate degree I successfully completed my internship at Pathways For Change (formerly The Sexual Assault/Rape Crisis Center of Central Massachusetts) I concentrated my internship on Community Outreach/Education/Awareness. I have also spent the last 8 years volunteering for the Molly Bish Child Advocacy Center under John and Magi Bish traveling with them conducting Child Identification Kit Programs. I have spoken in schools as well as other venues on child and teen safety.
I have excellent public speaking skills. I have experience in coordinating and running community events, I have knowledge of the internet as well as Microsoft Word,Office,Excell, Powerpoint etc I am also capable on the telephone.
In May I will earn my Masters Certificate in Victim Studies/Victim Advocacy
I am looking for either a part time or full time position in Connecticut working within a non profit.
