TEACHING HIGHLIGHTS
Instructed a wide range of students in 7th and 8th Grade, providing instruction within Science, Resource, as well as in-class support. Worked within academically diverse whole class settings, special education, child-centered classroom, special education inclusion, substitute teaching, and regular education areas.
Taught students with a variety of challenges including those with ADD/ADHD, Autism, blindness, developmental delay, learning disabled, seizures, and those on grade level.
Engaged students through dynamic and mind-catching curriculum that met all district and state standards; remained flexible and accommodating to the varied learning styles and abilities to ensure an equitable learning environment.
