Calibration of all company owned and employee owned gages used at the N.O.V. FM 529 facility and twenty six other N.O.V. facilities. Maintain the accuracy of all the gages used by the company to the Nist., API and ISO standards. Calibrate and maintain certification of all our gages with use by the company with the use of super micrometers and master gauges. Place stickers on each gage with the calibration date and the recall date for recalibration. Scrap and remove all gages the fail calibration from our inventory.

Inter faced between buyer planers and existing vendors for quality and delivery issues. Visit our vendors on the approved vendor list to see their machines and their capabilities of machining our parts. I kept a log with pictures of their machines and sizes and capabilities to machine our parts. I worked with our material vendors solve material quality issues and possible pattern problems. I interviewed possible new vendors and kept a list of their machines and the condition of their equipment and their capacity to make on time deliveries. I worked with vendor that would allow us to set up a flow chart for their shops to improve the capacity and on time delivery. I went to any vendor that was having material or machining problems when requested. I assisted our buyer planer on quality or delivery issues. I added or removed vendors from our approved vendor list as needed. I did source inspection when requested to expedite deliver of hot parts.
