DEPUTY PRODUCT MANAGER – SERVICE TRANSITION MANAGER (MARCH 2009-PRESENT)
I am a member of the Marine Corps Systems Command Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) program
Senior Leadership Team, leading a 200+M annual budget, critical ACAT-1M Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program. Lead
Post Deployment Software Support activities ensuring that a mission critical logistics system meets stakeholder requirements and
functions as planned.
As Deputy Product Manager, lead members devised of an operations officer, schedulers, risk manager, and analytical specialist, help
desk support personnel as per the Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) processes. Provide the Marine Corps the
logistics Software as a Service within the schedule release plan and accordance to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
plans. Manage the Global Operations Centre (GOC) providing helpdesk and software application services. Ensure the integrity of
the live environment is protected and the correct components are released. Integrated Product Teams for Test, Development and
Service Transition teams, conducting weekly meetings ensuring program stakeholders are communicating and conform to the
program release management plan. Maintain a release plan, containing the components of post; present; and future releases.
Develop clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans enabling the customer and business change projects to align their
activities with these plans.
As Service Transition Manager, lead members of the configuration control team and Oracle contractors to deliver patches and
updates to the enterprise resource planning system. Experienced in the development of Configuration Management documentation
and processes associated with the largest successful Department of Defence (DOD) Enterprise Resource Planning system.
• Release and Deployment Manager: Maintain the planning, scheduling and controlling the movement of Software Releases
to all test environments and the live GCSS-MC environment. Ensure the integrity of the live environment is protected and the
correct components are released. Provide the Marine Corps the logistics Software as a Service within the schedule release plan
and accordance to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) plans. Integrated Product Team lead for Test, Development

• Configuration Management: Oversee and maintain the Configuration Items of the ERP system through the software
development lifecycle, using detailed configuration management plans, ITIL processes and Application Lifecycle Management
tools. Establish and maintain the Change Advisory Board (CAB) ensuring processes are properly followed and all changes meet
the cost, schedule and system performance requirements used for acceptance criteria by the customer. Develop, Coordinate,
and Enforce CM processes from design, build, test, packaging the release, and deployment into production system. Plan,
Coordinate, Schedule and Brief to senior stakeholders, the major merging of developmental baselines into the production
system.

ACTION, REQUIREMENTS AND RESOURCE OFFICER (CIVILIAN) (AUGUST 2007- MARCH 2009)
Served as technical authority and consultant on all IT matters for the Army Knowledge Online/Defense Knowledge Online program
and report directly to the Chief, Knowledge Management Division Subject Matter Expert (SME) for USMC Amphibious
Communications, Communications Engineering, Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution.
• Performed a wide variety of analytical duties related to policy development, programming and budgeting development,
requirements validation, user capabilities determination, and Army requirements documentation. Reviewed and analysed
DOD/Army policies, directives and guidance documents to determine potential impacts and recommended appropriate action.
Developed and implemented new strategies, policies and procedures to streamline operations, optimize resources, and increase
customer usage. Convened and lead working groups as required to resolve critical issues impacting the Enterprise Portal and
represent the Army position during Integrated Product Teams or other working groups.
• Worked with HQDA staff to develop and maintain requirements documents, and defend the resources required to
implement, operate and maintain system services through the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process. Consistent
contact with representatives from OSD/Army/Navy/Air Force and Marine Corps, Federal agencies, General Officers and Senior
Executive Service members, vendors, academia, and industry.
• Reviewed and updated current funding for my assigned programs, maintaining an accurate and current Requirements
Officer notebook. Provided briefings to senior Navy and OSD leadership at the three-star or equivalent level. Participated in the
Joint Aerial Communications Layer study representing the Navy. Provided presentation material and technical expertise for
evaluation and input into joint requirements towards development of a tactical communications network layer.

Recruiting Command’s (MCRC) mission by assisting senior management in recognizing where IT would add value while transforming
or supporting program and recruiting operations.
• Provided executive leadership new technologies and ideas for IT application throughout MCRC. Monitored and evaluated
new technologies and assessed their potential to become new products or services consistent with applicable guidelines.
Oversee IT projects ensuring value added and provided reliable technical assessments of potential IT mergers and acquisitions.
• Perform IT Service Management and evaluated IT programs and projects, including full participation in the life cycle
management process, system development, requirement analysis, economic analysis, architectural design, vendor and product
acquisition, implementation, testing and training.

security of our IT system, and that it is approved, operated, and maintained throughout its life cycle in accordance with IT system

personnel located on 26 Marine Corps bases. Provided Navy Marine Corps Internet transitional expertise, coordination, and
guidance to the Customer Technical Representatives. Monitored changing policy and business rules, advising the government
customer of Execution Discipline policy. Managed assets and travel budget for computers, cell phones and personnel.
• Reviewed technical documentation of legacy application migration. Validate and submit documentation for IA certification,
monitor the testing, and assess the applications ability to meet customer operational requirements. Advised the customer by
