Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor is accountable for supervising, coordinating,
providing leadership to and reviewing the work of assigned personnel in the
Production/Assembly Department. This position is responsible for
developing and implementing work methods for staff involved in
manufacturing, testing, and shipping of the solar inverter products. It is
also a part of my responsibility to monitor inventory control and make sure
that there are always enough parts and components that will be available
for production used. Also conduct electrical performance test of the
inverter to make sure all on-grid parameter values of the unit passed or
meets the shipping requirements.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for planning the day-to-day departmental operations, as
well as executing departmental schedules based on customer requirements and
plant capacity.
2. Accountable for developing and implementing work methods, as well as
authorizing overtime, and controlling costs.
3. Accountable for assigning, as well as checking work of designated
staff.
4. Responsible for overseeing employees in performance of work and provides
guidance in the resolution of routine problems.
5. The Production Supervisor is accountable for working with subordinates
to insure that all quality standards are achieved, as well as control cost
of production.
6. Communicating and reinforcing the adherence to safety programs. Work in
accordance with the law to promote a safe work environment for all
employees. Insure that suitable training, and the appropriate tools and
equipment are available to employees enabling them to perform their work in
a safe and efficient manner.
7. Promoting housekeeping and cleanliness in order to ensure compliance
with health and safety regulations.
8. Evaluate and recommend changes in methods and procedures in assigned
areas of responsibility.
9. Act as a liaison with other departments, or organizations.

operators, using the procedures and systems correctly

throughout the shift and at the end of the shift
. Identify any safety hazards and report to supervisor to have safety
hazards corrected
