PROJECT / I N T ER NS H I P D ETA I LS:

Project entitled - Cognitive-Emotional Regulation and Depression among

P.G. Students’. I t was an exploratory study to examine the prevailing

pattern of cognitive and emotional self-regulation by using different

regulatory strategies i n a sample of 60 Postgraduate students of U tkal

U niversity. Another objective of the project was to analyze the relationship

between the type and extent of regulatory strategies used and the

experienced level of depression in post-graduate students. I n the present

s tudy relationship was found between the cognitive and emotional self-

regulatory strategies used and the depression experienced. SPSS was used

for the analysis of the data collected from the sample of PG students.

L td., as a part of the partial fulfilment of M.Sc degree. In ternship

consisted of observing patients during the therapy sessions, interacting

w ith them and preparing their case-history .
