Design Engineer

• Design passenger airplane seats.

• Produced complete and accurate 3D CAD assembly drawings for seat installations, including BOM’s using Solidworks 2011.

• Produced proposals and envelope drawings (installation manuals) using 2D AutoCAD 2008.

Skills Developed: Interpersonal skills, communication skills, and top quality work ethics.

Went back to school full time in order to gain additional skills and degrees to help further grow my career.

Engineering Designer

• Designed industrial machinery for food safe products, fabric dryers, coolers, dehydrators as well as other types of manufacturing machines using AutoCAD 2009.

Architectural Draftsman

• Responsible for designing internal plans consisting of but not limited to store layouts, floor plans, cooler/freezer equipment layouts, truck docking stations, and parking lots for renewals for Food Lion Stores using AutoCAD 2006.

• Read blueprints to obtain information from original stores.

Skills Developed: Learned the art of drawing floor plans, layout sheets, and detailed drawings, and designed renewal and banner change of stores.

Insulated component Structures, Mocksville, NC January 2006 – March 2007

Structural Insulated Panels also known as "SIP" s are prefabricated insulated structural elements for use in building walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs. While most commonly used for exterior walls, SIPs can also serve as a load-bearing floor and ceiling/roof. Our Greenix Panels are designed to carry the entire range of structural loads in a building and are manufactured by injecting polyurethane foam between two surface facings.

Project Engineer

• Responsible for designing custom-built panels for prefabricated residence, banks, and businesses from proposals to delivered product to the customer.

• Drew floor layouts, wall details, and roof layouts for the construction of buildings using AutoCAD 2004.

Skills Developed: Learned to read and create blueprints, make proposals, and construct detailed drawings.

Thomasville Cabinetry is crafted by MasterBrand Cabinets, Inc. a division of Fortune Brands Home and Security (FBHS). MasterBrand Cabinets produces Thomasville branded product for Thomasville Furniture Industries at several North American facilities, a full-line furniture manufacturer based in Thomasville, North Carolina.

• Utility person in cabinet room for 3 years (repair, assembly, finishing, etc…)

• Promoted to handling all aspects of postage in the corporate office, with project design position.

Skills Developed: Learned furniture manufacturing concepts. Learned proper techniques for dealing with the public.
