Job Title: Lead Surveillance Operator
Duties: As an operator I did tape change, VCR checks, and play backs. My
daily assignments included observation of slot areas, cages, table games,
and count rooms. I had to make daily reports and incident reports as
needed. I later was responsible for labeling, cataloging, boxing the tapes
and taking them to the warehouse. Later I was promoted to Lead Surveillance
Operator. I assisted in the daily operations. Those duties included
checking DAR's, incident reports, coverage saved, and DVD's made before
releasing them. I would assist and verify operator results on reviews, as
well as assist them with assignments. As needed I would report to court on
casino/gaming related incidents.
My duties also were training newly hired operators in surveillance and
gaming procedures, table games, gage and count rooms, slots, and cameras.
Training was also conducted from time to time with the veteran operator's.
