Work experience

Started my career in Tube and Pipe industry and continuing

with the same. Details of which are as follows.

At present working for Universal Tubes and Plastics Ind.

Ltd., Dubai, UAE as Techno-Commercial Manager. Joined this

company in February 1999 as Trainee Engineer and worked in

the same capacity for one year. After that was promoted to

the position of Production Engineer and worked for four

years. Worked in the capacity of Works Engineer for two

years before being promoted to the current position.

Manufacturing ERW MS and GI pipes complying to international

standards.

Job Profile

Monthly production planning like Slitting, Rolling Mill

planning accordingly. Having knowledge of Tube

Mills, Facing, Hydrotesting, Galvanizing and other

equipments related to ERW pipes.

Having the knowledge of Mills involved in ERW MS pipes,

maintenance related works in efficient running of Mills.

Controlling the downtime in Mills to enhance the production

and the quality of pipes. Looking after five Mills and

Slitting line having capacity of 25T. Having the knowledge

of sizes rolled from 1/2" to 14".Having the knowledge and

worked in API mill from size range 4" to 14".

Having knowledge in Galvanizing department. Having the

knowledge of fully automatic Galvanizing plant, zinc

consumption control, daily used chemicals analysis, zinc

coating regulations and chemicals control methods.

Having the knowledge in machineries used in workshop like

Lathe, Milling, Drilling, Fabrication activities, Rolls

profiling, spares used in running of Mill smoothly,

maintaining daily records of the downtime in Mills and

controlling the spares used.

Having knowledge in different quality standards like BS

1387/1985, ASTM A-53 GRADE A Sch.40, ASTM A 795 Sch.10/

ASTM A 135, DIN 2440/2444/EN 10255, EN 39/2001, Hollow

Section as per ASTM A 500-1993, Equivalent EN 10219.GRADE-B

Worked in group company in installation of HVAC System, like

Furnace / Boiler, Heat Pump, Radiators, Chillers -

Reciprocating and Screw driven, unitary and packaged

terminal air conditioners.

Involved in supplying the pipes of Grade Sch 40 & Sch 80,

B-Grade to commercial buildings & installation of the same.

Handling mechanical and operational breakdowns.

of all the export orders right from manufacturing till

dispatch. Having indulged with marketing team for marketing

the products in international markets and attaining the

orders in local and overseas government projects in Grade A,

Grade B, MS and Galvanized pipes.

Involved in supplying sheet metal for air ducts and

installation of the same.

Receiving Sales leads and creating price quotes.

Worked extensively in the plant room of HVAC system.

Integrating all HVAC service work.

Having the knowledge in material analysis like normal mild

steel, high grade steel, grade- B steel.

Having knowledge in attending the quality issues in

different sites with the help of quality team.
