WORK EXPERIENCE

August 2012-present: Customer Service Representative at Check Center, Inc. Duties: open deposit accounts, initiate loans, foreign/domestic wire transfers, check cashing, and general financial services. Duties also include: prospect new business, meet sales goals (daily,/weekly/quarterly), cash handling, problem solve customer issues, and vault inventory in an extremely fast paced work environment. I am currently a top performer in sales and customer retention.

August 2008-August 2012: Property Manager. Responsibilities: screen prospective tenants, deposit money into bank, run credit checks, and maintenance/repairs. Maintenance is generally comprised of: shampooing carpets, cleaning windows and venetian blinds, cleaning and unclogging sinks/toilets, mopping and buffing floors, painting interiors/exteriors, weather sealing decks, grouting sinks and bathtubs, sealing cement cracks, fence repair, rodent proofing, yard maintenance, and changing light bulbs.

Tasks and responsibilities include originating loans, calculating numerical figures for the type of loan being sold, satisfying conditions of the loan with the bank, off site presentations, managing and mentoring sales team in strategies for maximizing sales results.

November 2006-November 2007: Safeway stores Inc. Position: Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities include cash stand audits, department audits (deli, floral, etc.) sending/receiving cash via Loomis Fargo, generate reports (tender listing, store tax, terminal productivity, store revenue, etc.) close store, document inventory, and reset computers for the next day.

July 2000-March 2005: Wells Fargo Bank, Oakland, CA. Position: Personal Banker. Responsibilities include manage tellers, sales of financial products (opening all deposit accounts, credit cards, safe-deposit box, equity loans/lines, online banking products, investment products, execute foreign/domestic wire transfers, generate cashier checks, assess client financial portfolios to uncover further needs and resolve any issues as needed. Traveled off site to make presentations to local franchises and corporations regarding our products. Chaired sales meetings to maximize sales. I also managed several sales teams where target goals ranked in the top 10% in the entire Oakland market area.

1995-2000: Ralph Bunche School, Oakland Unified School District. Position: Teacher. Responsibilities include lead instruction, develop curriculum, and coordinate I.E.P. meetings (individualized education plans).
