Work in the newly constructed ship as an Electrician. I install cables, test, troubleshoot and commission different ventilation system in the ship. Such as Dampers, Supply and exhaust fan, Unit heaters, convection heaters, ships house heaters and duct re-heaters, dehumidifier, Air handling units and roll up doors. I also test, troubleshoot and commission the ventilation emergency stop which shuts off main generator and emergency generator and close different dampers on specific parts of the ship in case of fire. I also test, troubleshoot and commission Cargo door interlock for main deck supply fans. I also test, troubleshoot and commission different automatic alarms and ventilation shutdown associated with the firefighting system known as FM-200. I also test, troubleshoot and commission the digital access unit to ensure the remote monitoring and operation of the different system mentioned. I belong to the test and trial group of the ship being test and built in NASSCO.

I work on different company on a contractual bases working on the complete installation and commissioning of cell sites, telephone switching network upgrade and cellular switching network upgrade. I do all the same kind of work that I mentioned on my first job experience and the only different is the equipment. I did a part of the installation of the project of Northern telecommunication which they call the Optera long Haul. I work with Motorola in Bangkok Thailand Installing cellular HD2 channel system and in the Philippines with their Super cell 9600. I work for Lucent companies in Saudi Arabia Installing their 5ESS (Electronic Switching system).

Works in U.S. Naval Base, Subic Zambales, Philippines under Naval Electronics Engineering Activity. We work on Power panels, Radar, tech controls, Multiplexers, Radio Transceivers, Rectifiers, tuners, Antennas, Transmitters, power supplies and standby batteries, generators, equipment racks and cabinets. We install this equipment as per wiring diagram plan, do the necessary test with the use of different communication test equipment and put them into commission. We also do the running of different type of communication cables and install their necessary connectors. We also hook up wires on Main distribution frame and Intermediate distribution frame and do the cross connects. We also work on other American base in the Philippines and in different countries, doing the same, under the same employer as per temporary assign duty (TAD).
