. Turned around the business at Woodbridge sanitary Pottery, a division

of Gerber plumbing fixture. The yields were improved from 64% to 80%

and scrap losses were reduced by 25%. Reduced operating costs by 15%,

as a result of improved productivity and reduction in both direct

labor costs and fixed overheads.

Provided hands on technical support to engineers, developed, and

implemented the standard operating procedures for manufacturing of

vitreous china. In this role for short period, two major items were

developed and put in production.

Transferred the product and manufacturing know how from walnut

California plant to Perrysville Plant.

(1993 - 2000)

Managed, directed and supervised the activities of 24 Office,

production, quality assurance and RD & D staff.

and processed documentation involving L.A. County Sanitation, AQMD and

EPA regulations.

. Improved the productivity and efficiency of the plant by implementing

the preventive maintenance program. Responsible for production

schedules and inventory controls.

. Approved and qualified the raw materials and negotiated prices with

vendors. Worked with the Ceramic Engineer to keep improving the

glaze and body formulation to meet customer demand for various colors,

design & patterns.

. Directly responsible for the efficient performance of the fiber lined

and brick lined Tunnel Kilns including their maintenance.

. Worked with the British Engineers to install and commission the fiber

lined Bricessco tunnel kiln.

. Responsible for researching new machinery and equipment to make the

the supervisors of all the departments involved in manufacturing

process of dinnerware.
