Dear HR Director:
Please accept my resume for the Vice-President of Healthcare Operations posted on the
Resumebook360.com website. With over twenty years of combined multispecialty
physician practice management and hospital administration experience, I am an
effective, executive leader who utilizes a thorough working knowledge of business and
financial operations, strategic planning and marketing, physician relations and
recruiting, ancillary service line implementation, human resource management,
contracting, facility construction and EHR implementation. I understand the
importance of establishing personal and professional credibility, gaining respect and
building trust with staff and physicians. I possess strong interpersonal and problem-
solving skills and leadership qualities that focus on building a management culture
based on teamwork, open communications, and accountability.
Currently, I am the Practice Administrator for a multispecialty Orthopaedic practice. In
less than a year, I have reduced total operating expenses 21% and made significant
workflow and financial process improvements, all while adding revenue-generating
ancillary and mid-level provider programs and improvementss in patient satisfaction.
My contract is up for renewal in June. However, while my tenure here has been
successful, our family is unhappy residing here. Therefore, I have chosen not to renew
my contract, but relocate. Prior to my position here in Hot Springs, I spent eight (8)
years as the Practice Administrator for a multi-specialty gynecologic surgery group in
Jackson, Mississippi. The practice included Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery,
Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Maternal-Fetal
Medicine. Under my leadership, the clinic grew from 8 to 40 FTEs, with annual
revenues increasing from $8M to $17M. My remaining experience has been in Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation managing multiple sites.
We currently reside in a small rural community with a poor public education system and
lack of performing arts/cultural activities for our daughters. We are looking to relocate
to a metropolitan area with availability of good suburban public or private schools. We
do not have a house to sell so we are very mobile and hope to relocate before the
beginning of the next school year. I look forward to speaking with you about my
strengths and abilities to lead this group in achieving its’ short and long-term strategic
goals and objectives.
Kind Regards,
Joseph A. House
