Lead continuous improvement initiatives for 10 union and 2 salary employees in fast paced Pulverized Coal/Injection Plant, cutting costs

while ensuring comprehensive operational alignment with company's core vision and values. Inculcate contractors in DTE Energy Way

guidelines. Hold diverse HR responsibilities spanning grievance resolution, contract negotiations, and hiring. Carry out complex financial

management, forecasting, and planning in support of all facets of plant operations, including invoicing for products and raw materials,

purchasing, administrative costs, and outside services. Direct programming of plant HMI and PLC control systems, including Allen Bradley

PLC 5 80, 5 40’s, SLC 550e’s; 8 workstations with RS View; and 2 Mod icon 980’s.

• Suffered 0 lost time accidents in 12 years' operating through superior safety and training management.

• Sustained record of unblemished record of 0 environmental issues in 12 years' operating.

• Partnered with OSHA in 2008 to attain first ever VP plant status for DTE.

• Piloted 3 plantwide control system upgrades and four complete system overhauls during tenure.

management of EM 80 grinding mills, two Kie tek hot gas generators, 800+ HP motors, gearboxes, bag houses, 2000+ ton silos

(fine and raw material), nitrogen compressors, and belt conveyors ranging in width from 36” to 48”. (Lost 100% availability

rating only because of a power outage.)

• Bolstered working relationship between DTE Management and United Steel Workers International VP for Local 09477, fostering

a practical, outcome oriented partnership.

• Key contributor in SAP implementation, anticipating challenges and mitigating potential downstream impact on DTE customers.

T EC H N ICAL M ANAGER (2000-2005)

Orchestrated all aspects of Pulverized Coal/Injection Plant startup. Pioneered program for both routine and preventive maintenance;

conceived, designed, and executed plantwide spare parts system; and supervised installation and implementation of plant's initial IT systems

and controls network. Monitored spending and assisted Plant Manager in budget preparation, inventoried spare parts and raw materials, and

estimated future maintenance purchases. Assisted O&M Technical Leaders resolve broad spectrum issues relating to plant operations,

conducted trained sessions for all newly installed equipment.
