Organic Marketing dba Organic Construction New Orleans, Louisiana

• Chief Estimator/Project Manager

• Bid on projects from scratch to finish (takeoffs) to produce an accurate estimate for bidding requirements according to the plans and specifications of the project set by the owner. Each of the bids I was required to have a minimum of at least three (3) three quotes from any suppliers of materials and from any subcontractors that we would need as a Prime Contractor or a Subcontractor. Site visits were required so that we could have a good look at the existing conditions regardless of what the plans showed. This had to be accurate and precise so that when awarded the project that the bid that was submitted was the way that we were going to fund the project and in sufficient time, satisfactory completion, and to profit from it to allow for a successful project with an outstanding evaluation and reputation.

• Manage all projects that I was assigned too.

• Scheduled, kept track through daily reports, resolve issues, etc...

• Surveyed with Trimble GPS setting up baselines, triangulate points, produce cross sections, etc… Other survey equipment was needed also.

• Was placed and oversaw projects so that they were being done in accordance to what the owner desired. (QC)

• Kept track of Pay estimates, certified payroll, etc.. in a timely fashion so that the job would run properly.

• Designed the structural requirements, (Foundations requirements, Wind Load Calculations, Structural Load Calculations, etc…) for all pylon Signs for large firms nationwide.

• Use software such as Composer, which was used for graphics design that was compatible to the machinery so that it would interrupt the software to make the cuts that the software would tell it too. Corel Draw was graphics design software. AutoCad Software was used to build drawings so that I could produce drawings for the employees and they could use this to build the structural part of the signs.

• Required to go out to the job and ensure that the signs, awnings, handrails, etc… were installed according to our plans and specifications.

• Use software as such for the designing process, which the fabrication was under my supervision. The fabrication was done in house 02/08-01/09

• Draftsman for a Civil Engineering Company, where I was required to use CAD software to design projects for Owners, so that the Engineers could stamp them and put there project out for Advertisement to bid.

• As part of the Design process I was entrusted to assign the Engineers cost for each job I designed to produce the estimated cost as part of the bid documents. Assisted in writing the specifications for such jobs.

• Took projects and design them myself. The Engineers had faith in me in such way that once I completed the job they would do a once over and the project would be on its way out for advertisement.

• Took field Topographically information of Existing Topographical information, then take that information to the office and I was to put it into the computer so that we could begin the Design process.

• After a few years the Company instructed me to become an Inspector to the jobs that were designed and I became an inspector, or representative of the company so that when the project was being installed, after an award was awarded, that it was done correctly 07/03-01/08
