EXPERIENCE
As a Sales Professional, I have been blessed with extreme success since my
retirement from the police services. I have been the top performer for my
last five employers and continue to excel as a Sales Manager for Fluid
Maintenance Experts, Wynn's Chemicals of the SF Bay Area. While at F.M.E.
I grew the company from $40,000 to $145,000 in monthly sales.
As a Sales Executive selling at Cimasystems I excelled at selling software
to Auto dealerships. My District consists of the entire Northern
California area including the Bay Area and Sacramento Areas as well as the
Central Valley. I was the top Salesperson for the entire 18 month tenure
at Cimasystems.
In my former job for BG Products, Fleming Distributing. I was responsible
for sales expansion, training of my eight sales employees and customer
service and retention. I quadrupled the volume in my area and constantly
needed to hire staff to meet the challenges of increased market share. In
December 2003, I was recognized as setting a company record of 62% annual
growth in these areas. I am also proud of my Sales employees who earned 4
of 5 annual Company Sales awards.
As a Supervisor at the Alameda County Sheriff's Office for 87 employees,
both civilian and Police personnel, I was responsible for employee
evaluations, job quality assurance; fitness for duty, training of
probational employees, and employee scheduling.
I have been employed as a faculty member at Las Positas and Chabot Colleges
for the last ten (10) years. I was the lead Instructor for the following
topics: First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Cultural Diversity,
Sexual Harassment and Hate Crime Investigations.
I am a successful graduate of the California State Master Instructor
Development Program. I have demonstrated expertise in Adult Teaching
Concepts, Instructional Technologies, Research and Publication, Mentoring
and Instructional Systems Design. I was the Valedictorian of Class 9.
(There are less than 100 Master Instructors in this state).
I was appointed as a Planning Commissioner for both the City of Patterson
and the County of Stanislaus. I was elected Mayor of the City of Patterson
in 1994. As a result of these positions I have extensive experience in
Executive Management issues. I still remain quite involved in my community.
