Senior Supplier Quality and Development Engineer, World Headquarters

Reported to Executive Manager of Supplier Quality, Metal Formed Products

Division.

Ensured the overall quality of the final product met or exceeded customer

requirements using APQP format. Solved supplier metallurgical and quality

problems along with warranty cost avoidance which contributed positively

to the bottom line. Managed new product steel development team for cost

reduction opportunities.

. Developed, analyzed data and product specifications to determine

standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectations

of finished products which reduced testing costs.

Optimized five, four row pusher carburizing furnaces for ring gears and

pinions along with developing new alloy designs for furnaces producing a

cost reduction of $300,000/Yr. Project manager for new steel development

aligning products to be competitive on a global scale.

. Initiated maintenance programs producing $6,000/mo savings.

. Coordinated and implemented solutions to product problems in

machining, coating and assembly optimizing production.

Successfully supported Manufacturing and Quality Engineering on new axle

program process and launch development generating a yearly increase of

$10M. Improved manufacturability through process development resulting in

increased durability.

3. Developed suppliers on material selection for axle shaft and

stabilizer bar applications reducing raw material cost.
