EXPERIENCE

July 1998 to Grant Thornton LLP- Fort Lauderdale, FL

Present Senior Tax Manager

Managed the client services for mid to large sized public and

privately owned companies in South and Central Florida. Client

service responsibilities included the planning and execution of

the tax compliance process from beginning to end. Coordinated

with other specialty tax groups to effectuate the minimization

of tax and ensure overall quality control. Integral member of

audit engagement team preparing and/or reviewing FAS 109 and FIN

48 disclosures required for financial statements.

Extensive consultative work in partnership taxation with a focus

on the research and compliance needs of limited liability

corporations. Merger and acquisition experience with deferred

tax computations associated with purchase accounting and the tax

implications of various deal structures. Represented clients in

IRS matters related to examinations, notices, and requests for

change of accounting method.

As a member of the Consumer & Industrial Products group,

primarily worked with companies in the manufacturing and

distribution industry. Other industry experience includes

serving not-for-profits, service organizations, and healthcare

companies.

Served as Compliance Tax Leader scheduling resources and

prepared annual departmental budget for $5million operating

unit. Promoted from Tax Manager in August 2000.

July 1989 to Tax Manager

June 1998 Managed tax compliance for mid-sized privately held

companies and their owners. Client service responsibilities

included tax planning, tax research, and reviewing corporate,

partnership, individual and state tax returns. Served as Tax

Compliance Leader, coordinating the schedules of the tax

department. Other administrative duties include technical

training of professional staff and oversight of tax software

program, including installation and training.

Promoted from staff accountant in July 1996. In this capacity

prepared corporate, individual, partnership and state tax

returns including supporting documentation. Additional

experience includes work performed on compiled, reviewed, and

audited financial statements engagements.
