separate installation phases within over 1900 Home Depot stores.

Super Micro servers, with MySQL for FreeBSD or Redhat.
Factory Engineer
Analyzed requirements from Engineering, Product Management and Field
Services and created hardware product design specifications for vendors to
follow. I directed quality and performance analysis of server, packaging,
branding and shipping vendors. Subject matter expert for product hardware
and repair team. Responsible for the hardware product line supporting the
Messaging Division.
Accomplishments:
I was responsible for all server appliance vendor relationships with a 7
million dollar annual expense budget. I implemented an Engineering Document
Control System. I directed the design, testing and implementation of all

call center solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEM),
independent software vendors (ISV), and value added resellers (VAR). They
use Axiomtek, Advantech, Rackmaster Systems, RadiSys, Dell, HP, Intel, IBM,
and customized servers.

I identified hardware solutions for independent software vendors such as

Concerto Software is a predictive dialer software solutions vendor. They
use IBM pSeries servers, HP Proliant servers, Sybase for AIX or Redhat,
appliance telephony servers from Concerto, Axiomtek or Advantech with
Aculab or Concerto digital network access boards. The desktop application
is either a browser-based application with java connectors or a SDK to the
dialer with COM connectors.
Senior Hardware Engineer 2002 - 2004
Analyzed requirements from Product Management, Users Groups and Field
Services also responsible for hardware product management including
selection, testing, and qualification and directed new hardware projects
from goal setting through risk assessment. Managed Vendor relationships and
was the technical point-of-contact for Hewlett Packard, Intel, IBM,
Raidtec, etc. Developed "Request for Information" documents and reviewed
vendor submissions.
Accomplishments:
Lead the certification of three new database servers and three new
telephony servers as well as new storage arrays, hubs, cabinets, and
LCD/KVM units. I presented HP and IBM high availability solutions to
product management. I created bios, firmware, and driver deployment scripts
for new servers. Developed installation and service guides and presented
subject matter expert material to field service, support, and sales teams.
