As chief advisor to the Executive Team, conceptualized and negotiated the first National Master

through a 12 week strike.
Served on the Atlantic Area Parcel Negotiating Committee (UPS), representing over 19,000

Chief labor advisor to the Executive Team (CEO, COO, President of Operations and 7 Regional
Vice Presidents of Operations), providing and implementing company labor strategy to include
interpretation of and compliance with CBAs, applicable laws, regulations, and investigative /
disciplinary procedures. Chief negotiator/administrator/interpreter for CBAs for a multi-state, multi-
unit, transit company with over 12,000 employees.
Successfully negotiated over 40 CBA’s in 10 state region:
Net Result: Greatly helped facilitate the company’s ability to retain the business in a
competitive re-bid environment, reduced the labor agreements’ infringement on management
rights & operational effectiveness and solidified the financial structure of the company’s
western operations.
Administer the grievance / arbitration process throughout the West Region - including drafting
settlement agreements and MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding), and facilitating Boards of
Adjustment.
Collaborate with Business Development to achieve organizational growth and maintain union-free
environment where feasible.
Foster and encourage positive working relationships with labor unions including the Amalgamated
Transit Union, International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers, International
Brotherhood of Teamsters, International Union of Operating Engineers and the Communication
Workers of America - representing more than 6,000 employees.
