Maintenance Technician
Performed a variety of maintenance functions providing 3rd Shift coverage. Core duties prioritized
machine/equipment set ups, preventative maintenance procedures and daily troubleshooting and repairs.
Independently determined the sequencing of job orders/open items based on a daily meeting with the 2 nd
Shift Supervisor and a review of next day production schedule.
Experience included automated box cartoners, vacuum packagers, wrapping units, inkjet printers,
several types of dough processing equipment, topping dispensers, ovens, conveyor systems and
basic issues regarding the ammonia refrigeration system.
Performed various activities relating to the start up of a 135,000 sq. ft. plant. Identified and guided
redeployment of conveyers from the former facility to finish off an additional production line.
Quickly learned/adapted to the sanitary regulations relating to maintenance and repair activities.
Developed Preventative Maintenance programs/schedules for equipment on a plant wide basis and
included disassembly instructions. This was the company’s first comprehensive written plan and was
incorporated into the new maintenance software system.

Installed cooling unit to solve a compressor overheating problem. Determined the needed specs,
