and analyzing information for developing and modifying data processing
systems. Identified user needs to determine and implement systems that met
business requirements. Wrote high-level design specifications for users and

efficient methods of implementing hospital applications by working with

Assisted with the maintenance of the PACS computerized radiology system as
a trained super user. Performed network maintenance and occasional
configuration changes to keep system operational. Responsible for
maintaining the integrity and security of the radiology department's
complex file room system. Lead scheduler for the CAT scan department.
Maintained the complex electronic scheduling system and researched patient
profiles for specific protocols necessary for patient procedures outlined
by HIPPA standards and served as department safety officer. Utilized
Operating Systems using MICROSOFT OFFICE, WINDOWS XP, XP PROFESSIONAL,

Radiology Coordinator and PACS Administrator, January 1997 - January 2000
Designed and implemented a State of the Art Digital Computerized Radiology
Department (PACS). Trained professional staff (Doctors, Physicians
Assistants, and Limited Scope -Medical Assistants) on the use of the
computerized PACS System. Supervised four limited scope technicians on the
use of the PACS network. Monitored the PACS infrastructures network (T1-
line) storage and back-up system while providing hardware and software
support. Implemented virus and security maintenance as well as performing
scheduled back-ups. Monitored the networks integrity, security and
performed required trouble shooting by maintaining documentation on
upgrades, patch installations and error logs, provided management of the
RIS/HIS systems.
