Performed all manufacturing engineering tasks for the 144,000 square foot
Final Assembly (FA) operation in Morrisville, NC. Responsibilities
included: development of production standards, methods improvement, and
project management for the July 2008 start-up.
. Established standard assembly instructions and costing for over
1,200 regular business and promotional items
. Developed information and material flows for start-up operation
that resulted in an 85% variance reduction
. Partnered with Red Prairie implementation team to design material
flow paths that reduced Material Handling labor staff by 40%.
Production Scheduler - August 2008 to June 2009
Served as the Production Scheduler for the FA operations that generated
over $15M per month in standard and promotional stocking units.
Responsible for workload allocation, short range smoothing, and conflict
resolution.
. Developed new scheduling method for the 2008 trade marketing
program, generating over $20M in sales
. Created training SOP for the implementation of i2's Factory Planner
scheduling "go live" in September 2008
. Improved shop order closure rate to over 95% within three days,

process improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement (CI) of
two manufacturing buildings.
. Created process flow charts for different Wyeth Vaccines

. Assisted in Labor Standards project, which tracked and monitored
cycle times and labor efficiency performance for key production areas
with applications to more than 150 technicians and contributed to

records, error reduction, and process improvement.

part of error reduction program, leading to reduction of errors in
