Freelance Medical Director
As a Freelance Medical Director I have worked with
program and scientific teams at medical education
and communication companies to write and edit slide
decks, newsletters, curriculum guides, abstracts

Scientific Director
As a Scientific Director I led a team consisting of
a PhD, an editor and account people who developed
and wrote content for manuscripts, abstracts,
posters and slide decks for EMD Serono (Rebif). In
addition, I assisted our oncology medical teams in
developing publication plans and medical to medical
communications for Pfizer Oncology (SUTENT,
axitinib and figitumumab). In a smaller role I
reviewed medical content for our Pfizer CNS
pipeline team.
In my role as Scientific Director I was part of a
management team that was responsible for assisting
the Senior Account Manager in his role of managing
accounts and helping develop new business ideas.

Senior Vice President, Director of Scientific
Services
As the Director of Scientific Services I led a team
of PhD's, editors and freelance writers and editors
who developed and wrote promotional and continuing
medical education content for manuscripts,
abstracts, slide decks, and newsletters. We were
also responsible for participating in advisory
boards, identifying and disseminating key messages
and delivering competitive intelligence for
clients. In addition, I helped the lan
Pharmaceutical team develop and update a
publication plan for Tysabri. Our major current
clients include lan Pharmaceuticals (Tysabri),
Ethicon (Plastic and Surgical products), Roche
(Fuzeon and Invirase), Merck (Singulair and

Leaders in the therapeutic areas I was responsible
for.
In my role as Senior Vice President I was part of a
leadership team and a management team that was
responsible for assisting the Managing Director in
her role of directing the company. The leadership
team provided assistance in areas of personnel and
fiscal management. The management team's main role
was in organic and new business development.

I designed continuing medical education and
promotional programs for pharmaceutical clients.
These duties included writing abstracts, posters,
slide kits, newsletters, and article outlines. I

consisted of two MD's, a PhD and an editor. We
wrote clinical intelligence documents and
maintained a database of clinical data for our

same.
