Was Brought in as part of a new senior management team at
this publicly traded retailer of 500+ stores to reset the
direction and metrics of the two retail brand businesses occupancy
expense. Set up test of off mall alternative. Restructured the real
estate portfolio of the struggling Arden B chain.
Senior Vice President-Real Estate and Construction 2005 to 2007
CHARLOTTE RUSSE, San Diego, California
Managed all of the activities of leasing, construction, lease
administration, repair and maintenance, legal, store planning,
fixture procurement, new corporate headquarters procurement and
relocation.
Presided over the wind down and disposition of the 66 stores in the
Rampage chain, creating an aggregate profit as opposed to using the
sizeable reserve set aside to dispose of the brand.

Oversaw the expansion and market penetration of a jewelry chain
consisting of nearly 400 stores.

ZALE CORPORATION, Irving, Texas
Oversaw the expansion and repositioning of the nation's largest
jewelry chain of more than 1000 stores. Worked with CEO and COO on
strategizing short and long-term capital investments, worked with
division Presidents on executing market by market long-term strategy
and directed the real estate department and program. Worked with
senior management and creditors committee to restructure the real
estate portfolio under Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Strategized and
negotiated closings, lease assumptions and Lease restructuring
directly with creditors committee.
