exceeding annual savings target by $10 million by establishing global
strategies to cut material cost, introduce new technology, improve quality
and supplier performance for all anti-theft devises, key fobs, switches,
control modules, instrument panels, head up displays and driver information
centers for GM Global Platforms. Reduced part proliferation, and achieved
year over year savings for electrical components and performed component
level benchmarking studies to determine world class technology, quality and
product prices. Sourced GM's first keyless entry fob and keyless start
system planned for the next generation DTS and Corvette.
. Responsible for $180m spend, selection of global supply base, managing

Global Planning - Project Manager
Managed five IT vendors implementation and operation phase for a global
capacity-planning tool as each vendor integrated their software into GM's
established legacy systems. Meet tight project plan time-line and came in
under budget allocation by 5%. Created and implemented of "Center of
Expertise" designed to expedite the productivity and effectiveness of the
software to ensured production demand requirements were met by modeling
"what if" scenarios of varying vehicle volume forecasts and identifying
parts falling short to hypothetical production levels.
. Responsible for software implementation/deployment phase, as part of
global capacity planning tool, which provided a part rate generator,
simulation tool, model option rates, tooling requirements and shortfall
analysis at part number level. Developed process manuals and training
modules both in hard copy and for an on-line course, "Tooling Up for
Capacity Planning", teaching buyers methodology behind "installed
capacity" improving tooling volume purchases. Delivered training to over
3000 suppliers demonstrating how to identify their "installed capacity"
and spot potential future part shortages.
GM do Brazil, Sao Paulo, Brazil
Logistics - International Specialist
Reduced logistics expenses for South American freight by $11 million

measured carrier's performance (air/ocean/land), to ensure GM service
agreement compliance.
Forecasting and Order Fulfillment Specialist
Forecasting & Order Fulfillment - Analyst
Reduced production variances 20% by rigorously enforcing level scheduling
targets, maintaining manufacturing operating plans, and resolving assembly

. Developed reports to measure production performance and dealer sales
performance against vehicle product allocation and order volume
commitments. Reported vehicle order changes and manipulated production
schedules to maximize assembly plant operating plans and minimize
constraints. Created, analyzed and distributed industry statistics in the
form of volume forecasts, sales trends and production figures.
