Multi-Institutional Implementation (Midwest) - Conducted
Interactive Design and Prototyping (IDP) sessions for Campus
Community with seven state colleges and universities. Then, I
conducted IDP sessions for Admissions with three State Colleges.
This included reviewing current business processes and
recommending changes to most effectively use Campus Solutions.
Previewed Campus Solutions functionality, completed set up
tables, and set up 3C's (Checklists, Communications, Comments.)
This assignment was for six months.
University Upgrade (Northwest) - For two months, I assisted with
the Admission and Campus Community functional aspects of an
upgrade from PeopleSoft 8.0 to 9.0. This included previewing new
enhanced functionality, identifying any gaps between new
functionality and campus business processes, determining if any
modifications would be affected or could be eliminated by the
software change, and identifying opportunities for improvements
to current business processes and procedures.
Overseas Implementation - For one year, I assisted an Eastern
University with a worldwide deployment of Campus Solutions by
providing functional support for the Admissions and Campus
Community modules. Designed business processes for campuses in
Europe and Asia, including establishing business practices for
using an electronic admissions application and designing and
building the 3C's (Checklists, Communications, Comments.)
Northeastern University Production Support - For three months, I
assisted several campuses in establishing admissions processing
during the implementation of PeopleSoft and a centralized
document processing center. This included training staff in
completing checklists and sending email communications and the
review of the admission acceptance letter to ensure accuracy.

Associate Director Operations, Undergraduate Admissions
November 2000 to November 2006
Established and managed operations including; communication
flows based on strategic recruitment goals; transfer credit
processing; and admission systems. This included responsibility
for providing and evaluating data to determine the progress
toward strategic goals. Acted as admissions lead for the
PeopleSoft implementation. Collaborated with Marketing and
Student Affairs on issues related to recruitment and new student
orientation.
Illinois Student Assistance Commission
April 1981 to October 2000
Business Manager - Managed a student loan portfolio of
approximately 21,000 accounts valued at $189 million. Served on
the project team that was responsible for the implementation
analysis, business process re-engineering, and user acceptance
testing of a new default prevention system.
Compliance Administrator - Managed the development of the
Illinois State Postsecondary Review Entity (SPRE), an initiative
designed to reduce fraud and abuse in Title IV, student
financial aid programs.
Special Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer - Assisted the
COO in maintaining the efficient operation of the agency's
programs and coordinated selected major special projects, such
as the agency resource allocation project and the operational
activity analysis project.
