Grew our rental transaction volume every month in 2008 over 2007 by

I presented a business plan to Pacvan in November 2000 to expand into

the South Central and Southwestern US. This included all facets of

business development, including indentifying customers, personnel,

potential branch locations, competition and buyout targets. I was hired

in Jan 2000 to implement my plan sometime in 2000. My business plan was

never implemented, and I separated from the company at the end of the

year.

Responsible for sales and revenue production in 10 branches with my team

of 14 territory sales reps. Worked with the operations management group

to meet fleet ROI targets and productivity goals

Accomplishments.

Exceeded revenue, net income and asset management goals by 108% of plan.

Initiated, developed and implemented joint call strategy to key regional

accounts with Strategic Account group resulting in $500K per year growth

in lease revenue

Assisted in the design and implementation of a B2B internet sales

project

Designed and implemented a customer prospecting plan that improved

utilization in 9 out of 10 branches. The total impact for the region's

utilization was over 8 points.

Turned around three poorest performing branches by identifying local

opportunities and implementing appropriate sales plans. Results were

improved net income by 15%, asset utilization by 30%, and revenue

consisting of over 7500 assets, 325 retail rental locations and over

$45MM in annual revenue. Focused on enhancing productivity while at the

same time dramatically improving customer relations .

Accomplishments

Turned business unit around from $6MM loss to $5.8MM pre-tax profit in 3

years.

Assisted in designing and implementing fleet metrics which were used for

purchase, maintenance and eventual disposal of our equipment.

Increased staff productivity by 30%. Accomplished this by eliminating

"silo" organization, identifying and eliminating duplicate field and

backroom processes and combining our operational requirements with field

procedures whenever possible.

Reduced Customer Service expenditures by over 40% by attacking root

causes and eliminating complaints. Part of the solution was resolving

complaints in less than one week, down from an average of a month.

Developed product line proformas, strategy, and execution of four major

national marketing campaign for truck rental. This included managing a

$1.6MM advertising budget
