Responsible for directing the establishment of manufacturing capability and
capacity in China and India for Level III products to facilitate the
migration of manufacturing from the US to the global region of consumption.
. Established new processes in China for plating and lead frame
overmolding that generated $2mm in manufacturing and shipping
cost reductions.
. Worked with demand management to establish planned order
schedules for major customers in Asia to reducing delivery lead
time by 35%.
. Established global and regional sales and operation planning
meetings for Level III products to align goals between the
product managers and manufacturing engineering.
. Developed global workmanship specifications for products
manufactured in multiple facilities and countries that
established communications between plants and reduce defects by
30%.
Director, Manufacturing Operations - East Berlin, PA 2003-
2007 Directed the manufacturing, engineering, and warehouse operations
for 19 product lines that generated $200MM in billings annually.
Operational responsibility for a 150,000 sq. ft. facility that employed
over 600 people and housed over 130 major pieces of capital equipment. The
major manufacturing processes included: plastic injection molding,
progressive metal stamping, automatic assembly, and strip line plating.
. Through the use of Quality Operations Systems meetings (QOS)
reduced the process PPM defect rate for stamping, molding, and
assembly by 40%.
. Utilized Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing techniques to
implement cost reduction projects of $6MM annually.
. Tracked and maintained operational costs, efficiencies, and
manufacturing standards that generated a positive operating
variance each year of operation.

Manager, East Berlin Campus 2000-2003
Directed the Engineering product teams and manufacturing production for the
East Berlin and Shrewsbury facilities during the dot com expansion period.
. Coordinated the 38,000 sq. ft. building expansion that connected
the two separate East Berlin facilities increasing the
manufacturing capacity by 35%
. Renovated the former Shrewsbury molding facility into a
warehouse to support the East Berlin manufacturing operations
and eliminating leased warehouse space.
. Directed capital equipment expansion to meet the rapidly growing
communications market.
