IBM

• Sold first IBM managed storage services contract in the US introducing an innovative tiered usage pricing model.

• Led in the development of a new position for pre-sales and solution development for IBM’s entry into managed

hosting.

• Developed solutions to complex customer requirements of two servers to fifty servers including high availability

options, security, application content, labor services, multi-vendor servers, network bandwidth and VPN.

Technical Skills

• Reduced billing errors from over 80% of invoices to less than 30% in sixty days. Developed an MS Access

Product Development

• Reduced language translation costs with significant improvement programs that achieved as much as 30% cost

savings. As second line manager led the planning and implementation of over 20 international language

translations for all office application software sold by IBM. Overall budget responsibility was $10 million.

• Completed transition of major marketing application systems in less than eighty percent of cost plan. This

included the transition of the support system and network from Canada to Japan. Managed over sixty Japanese

professionals.

• Developed a comprehensive disaster recovery methodology document for IBM’s Mass Storage System.
