PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
CENTOCOR, INC. * Radnor, Pennsylvania * 2003-2009
Senior Associate Scientist
Provided scientific expertise for all aspects of large-scale research
projects, supporting osteo-arthritis efforts such as intra-articular
injections and synovial fluid recovery. Partnered with principal
investigators to author protocols, conduct experiments, deliver samples,
and analyze results. Researched infectious disease models as well as acute
and chronic colitis.
* Determined viral titers in tissue homogenates for RSV and influenza using
ex vivo cell-based assays.
* Developed and maintained disease models critical for on-going research,
including respiratory syncytial virus model of infection in cotton rats and
murine influenza infection model.
