Assistant General Manager- Manage the start up of a 1.38 million sq. ft.

building, 14 direct reports and 350 plus associate including temporaries.

PKMS WMS, full pick pack, case pick integrated system. Worked with the

Hanes company on Lean Methodology to improve processes. Results: Created

process to measure productivity, set up a system to create promotional item

build that is the customer's largest sale point.

Financial Director of a 3PL region. Implemented forecasting tools for the

seven buildings 1.8 million sq,ft. region. Results: Created visibility of

revenue to cost trends before the end of a reporting period.

Director of Operation with 11 direct reports in a region that has been

reporting over a 200% growth consecutively for the past two years.

Directed multiple buildings with a third party logistics company. Turned

the profitability from a negative to a consistent in the black operation.

Shipped out over 20K truckloads of product to the various Home Depot Stores

in the 13 Western States. Received > 17K Ocean Freight Containers and > 5K

Over the Road Truck loads: Results: This was the highest volume Import

Distribution Center for Home Depot.

Wrote Performa's to Executive Officers for placement, size and timing for 3

import facilities. Maximized building capacity; reduced freight costs and

used 1st building as model for all import buildings in Home Depot. Results:

Plan lowered overall operating expenses yearly.

Food Grade Warehouse Unloaded and handled imported food. Pasta, Olive Oil,

Rice, caned olives unloaded from sea containers. Worked with FDA and USDA

and know and understand AIB standards. Results: Worked with the USDA to

improve the testing process to release goods to the end user in a timelier

manner.

Decreased need to add more facilities. Participated in a Six Sigma program

for 20 months to increase turns and fill rates for 28-bulk facilities

within The Home Depot Corp. Analyzed components of supply chain.

Received a green belt in Six Sigma. Results: Increased turns 27% for bulk

facilities.

Reversed and revitalized the lowest producing building. Increased moral and

associate loyalty at Rancho Cucamonga. Results: Increased production by 58%

in < 18 months; increased on time deliveries and maintained a 99.9% fill

rate to the stores.

Managed all aspects of production and administration including Shipping,

Receiving, Inbound Traffic, Outbound Traffic, HR and Asset Protection for

the facility shipping to > 310 Home Depot Stores. Results: Lowest

operating percent for an Import facility.
