with a NYSE traded retailer. The scope of the engagement included the

restatements of several years of financials, the analysis and control

implementation of vendor accounts, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance testing and

Responsible for all financial activities of this +50M dollar, multi-faceted

operation. With over 650 employees, two terminals, and over 25 different

retail merchandise and food concessions, HMS Corp serves over 2 million

customers annually thru Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

. Managed 2 direct and 17 indirect reports, overseeing cash handling

and control, budgeting and planning, all accounting processing (P&L,

A/P, P/R, A/R etc management reports, and financial and

operational metric development.

. Managed interaction with various government agencies (FAA, USDA, City

Aviation Dept.) that is part of operating at a major international

airport, as well as multiple sets of sub-tenants, franchisers,

distributors, and suppliers.

LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST/ SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST 1996

AMERICAN EXPRESS

Responsible for staff and financial planning, annual budgeting and

forecasts, and project accounting for the Data Center Operations (DCO)

section of the Information Processing Center and the Telephone Service

Center (TSC) in Phoenix.

The DCO is the managing organization responsible for meeting the

information system and data processing needs of AMEX on a global basis.

The TSC, with over 1000 employees and a $60M+ annual budget, provides

customer services for American Express cardholders on a worldwide basis.

. Created and delivered a combined operating budget for 3 geographically

diverse call centers with over 1400 employees, servicing over 30

million calls per year.

. Initiated changes to the budget format to allow it to become a

guideline for both upper and lower level management.

. Instituted procedures to improve the reporting of expenses and

analyzed the operation to improve efficiencies and increase margin.

CONTROLLER/OPERATIONS MANAGER

1983 To 1995 HOMESTYLE PRODUCTS

Responsible for many aspects of the operation (manufacturing and

distribution) through two mergers, a plant relocation, and varied business

cycles. Established and managed to aggressive revenue growth targets

resulting in year over year increases. Selected and implemented hardware

and software upgrades for all functions, including A/P, A/R, sales analysis

and route accounting, inventory management, and financial statements.

INVENTORY AND FINANCIAL ANALYST

1979 To 1982

IBM CORP.

Responsible for the planning, monitoring, and efficient utilization of all

inventories for the Tucson, Az. circuit card manufacturing plant.

Instrumental in the smooth transfer of this responsibility from the San

Jose plant to the Tucson plant. Identified and eliminated (via surplus sale

and/or scrap) over 5 million dollars in excess inventory.
