Senior Operations Manager $2 billion in sales,

. Ensured quality over largest new store deployment ever for Target,

improved customer satisfaction. As a result, was part of the team

that coordinated a $300 million renewal.

. Developed metrics / KPI's / audit process for all departments to

track and improve performance.

. Helped develop $2.5 MM labor and expense budget, met guidelines of

. Reduced freight costs in one department by 95 % ($50000 annually) by

. Moved from signing a lease in an empty building to production in four

weeks. Coordinated / negotiated pricing with all contractors.

. Within 4 weeks of startup, first shift operating above performance

goals, second shift up and going 2 weeks later.

. Provided integration, rework, packaging and inventory supply chain /

distribution services for Dell, WWT and Xpedx.

Started up the NC facility (company based in Austin, TX). Oversaw upfit

and installation of production lines and equipment, furniture, IT and

security. Initiated contacts and performed follow-up with staffing

agencies, material handling equipment, HVAC, utilities, and transportation.

Interviewed and hired office and supervisory staff and set up / managed

Oversaw all US operations for ISO 9001-2000 certified facility that

manufactured and sold products used in filtration, soil separation,

absorbent skins and others. Run CPI events, totaling $90,000 savings in

first year. Became certified as ISO 9001-2000 Internal Auditor, appointed

as Management Representative. Managed daily functions of manufacturing and

warehouse staff, collaborated with sales and administration to meet goals

and objectives. Initiated continuous improvement events; coordinated

sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, machines and supplies. Major

Led strategic supply chain planning and communications for global vendors.

Managed daily tactical activities for all sourcing, logistics,

manufacturing and support staff functions. Created broader quality

standards in partnership with manufacturers and monitored those standards

which resulted in customer satisfaction. In coordination with Reebok,

developed additional guidelines for all overseas manufacturing and

monitored Human Rights audits of overseas factories. Major customers

included Target, Wal-Mart and others. President stepped down from daily

operations, new president brought in new team.

Carolon Company, Rural Hall, NC

(1997 - 2004)

Plant Manager

$6 million in sales, 80 employees

Developed optimal workflow for six manufacturing departments, communicated

company expectations, and successfully managed employee quality, safety and

productivity issues. Monitored quality issues, inventories, as well as

managed the Human Resources function as business needs dictated. Increased

employee awareness of quality issues, worked to meet our GMP guidelines,

reduced costs in labor and raw materials and improved productivity by 20

percent. Recruited to ABI.

(1996 - 1997)

Managed day to day operations on the production floor, provided Human

Resource assistance to employees, led special project teams as needed and
