Manage 19 employees (Maintenance Technicians I and II, Calibration
Technicians, Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Engineers and Maintenance
Specialists) plus contracted employees for 48,000 square foot manufacturing
facility.
Functionally responsible for Equipment Maintenance and Repair,
Predictive/Preventative Maintenance, Facility Upgrades, Equipment
Installation, Factory Floor and Office Layouts, Utilities, Building and
Landscape Maintenance, Security, HVAC and coordination with Federal, State
and Local agencies including AQMD, OSHA, FAA, EPA. Current capital budget
$2.5 million.
Additionally responsible for the land purchase, design, construction,
commissioning and validation for new Unilife World Headquarters. This fast
tracked 21.7 million 150,000sq.ft. purpose built construction project has
been designed and built with a one year deadline for completion. Facility
plans include; WFI generation plant, industrial steam plant, hot water
generation (for heating), cooling and chilled water systems, N2
distribution, etc...
Current facility population is 100 and projected growth plans put expansion
at 400 - 500. Infrastructure being built to scale-up to these numbers.

Maintenance Manager
Manage 19 union and non-union employees (Electricians, NC Electricians,
Mechanics, and NC Mechanics) plus contract employees for a 340,000 square
foot facility for the metal and composite manufacturing of aircraft wings
and helicopter blades.
Functionally responsible for Equipment Maintenance and Repair,
Predictive/Preventative Maintenance, Facility Upgrades, Equipment
Installation, Factory Floor and Office Layouts, Utilities, Building and
Landscape Maintenance, Security, HVAC and coordination with Federal, State
and Local agencies including AQMD, OSHA, FAA, EPA.
Current capital budget $3.6 million which includes; construction of new
10,000sq.ft. clean room, energy efficient VFD controlled air compressors,
facility improvements, and Building Management system installation in
parallel with SCE.

Manage 11 employees (Mechanical, Electrical, Technicians, Documentation,
and CAD Designer) plus contract employees for this 210,000 square foot/5
site manufacturers of Medical Devices. Functionally responsible for
Equipment Maintenance and Repair, Predictive/Preventative Maintenance,
Facility Upgrades, Equipment Installation, Factory Floor and Office
Layouts, Utilities, Building and Landscape Maintenance, Security, HVAC and
coordination with Global (cGMP), Federal, State and Local agencies

. Led the floor layout, new equipment installation, clean room and black
room installations, lab installations and office build-outs for the

Managed a $10 million budget and a department of 100+ people including
Supervisors, Technicians, Mechanics, Electricians, Facility Service
Workers, Security, and Janitorial Workers (13 buildings and over 500,000
square feet) for this worldwide manufacturer of Pharmaceuticals.
. Functionally responsible for all Preventative Equipment and Facility
Maintenance, Equipment Repair, Security, Utilities, HVAC, Equipment
Installations, Spare Parts, and coordination with all Global (cGMP),
Federal, State and Local Agencies including AQMD, OSHA, FDA, EPA,
Hazardous Waste, HEPA Filter Certifications, etc.
. Equipment: Pure Steam Generators, Vacuum Systems, Automated

manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. Responsible for equipment maintenance,
preventative maintenance, facility/landscape maintenance, Engineering

. Installed new 8 effect Stilmas WFI unit and new 400ton chiller and
upgrades to existing primary/secondary chilled water dist. System.
. Wrote all Basis of Design documents for: Pure air, Nitrogen, Pure
steam, DW/WFI system and HVAC system. Installed online TOC units - DW
and WFI systems and managed major modifications to Pure water system -
WFI / DW.
. Installed clean room differential pressure alarm system.
. Responsible for all CAP (Corrective Action Plan) related activities
with regards to critical utilities and facilities including all
critical utility/facility responses and corrective action for cGMP
audits conducted by LCS (3rd party expert).
