effective decision making and improved the accuracy/quality/timeliness of

financial reporting as well as the level of value added services in

support of the operation.

into the North American Distribution business.

. Applied Continuous improvement tools & Methodologies (ACE) to address

product logistics cost over-runs in the Florida operation saving ~ $750K

in 2nd half of 2006.

. Conducted forecasting, budgeting and other financial functions to support

the Facilities Maintenance Service (FMS) organization.

. Supported the Syracuse Based Campus Facilities consolidation project as

well as the Financial Shared Services outsourcing project.

. Provided financial analysis leading to improvements in the FMS

operational cost by $3M+.

Financial Shared Services Leader - United Technologies Corporation (2002

. Provided effective AR/Credit/Collections management solutions leading to

improved cash flow for the stakeholders and improved AR aging performance

. Led the consolidation of several thousands of accounts into the CFS

organization from the field resulting in a net overall resource reduction

(1998 - 2002)

. Provided leadership in the design and deployment of an effective Finance

Shared Service Center supporting multiple internal customers.

. Led a cross-functional team in the identification and resolution of UTC

SBS Payroll migration issues. Identified payroll process improvement

opportunities and led the implementation of corrective actions/mistake

proofing.

. Planned and launched several key shared service migration projects that

provided in excess of $500K annual cost savings. Identified additional

shared service cost reduction opportunities in excess of $1M annually.

. Led the finance team in the development of core Finance functionality,

plus supported the documentation/training tools for the Operational

template using SAP ERP software

. Supported the knowledge transfer of SAP functionality developed in the

Operational template to accelerate the implementations of SAP in South

America and Asian Operations.

Manager of Finance/Plant Controller - United Technologies Corporation (1992

- 1994)

. Led the development of the annual business plan (Operating and Capital

Expenditures Plan) and variance reporting against plan and forecast to

support the decision making process of the Business Unit Leadership.

. Established a bottom's up forecasting process and measurement system for

the Large Chiller Business Unit operations.

. Improved the internal control environment through procedural process

improvements.

. Supported cost reduction programs (including in-source and out-source

decision making) through tracking systems and costing accuracy

improvements.

. Led the implementation of ABC costing to improve business decision making

and sourcing initiatives.

Various Financial/Accounting roles - United Technologies Corporation (1988

- 1992)

. Implemented the first comprehensive Activity Based Management model in

the Business Unit leading to a part number rationalization project which

yielded significant savings.

. Managed all areas of accounting, forecasting and planning for the

controls division.

. Improved several existing processes (account reconciliations,

forecasting, annual budgeting) through automation via electronic

spreadsheets.

. Provided audit support to ensure compliance with business procedures and

identify process improvement opportunities
