Plant Manager

Led Oneida in overhauling their manufacturing and shipping operations.

Using Lean Manufacturing principles, improved shipping lead times from 2-6

weeks to 72 hours for all critical product lines while decreasing FG

inventory by 70%.

Improved manufacturing efficiency to the point where it was cost-effective

to bring back all outsourced manufacturing (about 50%) from overseas and

domestic vendors while only increasing headcount by 25%. This was the

major factor in increasing bottom line profits 5-fold in 2007. Since then,

Lean techniques were used to improve labor efficiencies by 20% more.

Created and implemented a custom MRP system that has allowed the company to

virtually eliminate part shortages.

Overhauled safety program, bringing the company back into OSHA compliance.
