Motors Technical Center, Warren, MI. Responsible for the 2003 Pontiac Grand

Prix. Cockpit Compartment (Instrument Panel and Center Console). Lead

Engineer responsible to deliver approx. 110 UCL Criteria items. Criteria items

are used to start the packaging process for a new model change.

11/1995 – 04/1998 Project Manager, Saturn J2902 Innovate Program. Responsible for Fascias,

Bumper Systems, Fenders, Wheel Liners, Carpets, Deadener Mats and Sound

Insulators. Door Exterior and Instrument Panels.

10/1994 – 10/1995 Program Manager on GM, Prince (GM) and Tier 1 Supplier Accounts

12/1991 – 09/1994 Program Manager on 1995 NS Chrysler Mini Van, Interior Trim Program.

Responsible for bringing program within budget and time frame. Interfacing

extensively with Chrysler Trim Engineering Manager and Trim Group. Also,

responsible for 35 person design and engineering team which Modern

Engineering was contracted to provide on fixed price program. Managed

program from feasibility studies to production phase.

02/1991 – 11/1991 Design Manager, Tier 1 Support, Product Engineering and Design. Interior and

Exterior Trim and Sheet metal Body-In-White (BIW) Components. Responsible

for managing program, Headliners and Garnish full phase of quoting costs and

timing. Interface with all Tier 1 customers including Ford, GM and Chrysler as

well as Japanese, Korean and other transplant corporations, quoting and

product design for these companies. Involvement in fixed price quotation for

approximately three years.

09/1988 – 02/1991 Design Supervisor, “1991/92 C-H” Interior Trim Program Headliners, Garnish,

Shelf Trim and Sail Panels Responsible for 30 employees; Manual and CAD

Production Interior Trim Group completed to date. Program consisted of

approximately 30 major interior components.

02/1988 – 09/1988 Leader, Interior Trim Design Group Responsible for 15 employees, Manual and

CAD. Design direction, quoting, engineering direction, interface with customer

engineers, coordinate schedules, timing dates of production 1991/92 C-H

Platform B-O-C Interior Trim.

03/1987 – 02/1988 Senior Designer, (manual design) 1991 Olds C Car Pre-Proto Design Interior

Trim Door Panel from conception to design. Complete design including all

attaching components. Project interior trim components for Inland Fisher Guide

Division 1991 C Pillar. Headliner 1991 Buick C Car, fiberglass substrate and

cloth, complete design and layout.
