With over 30 years’ experience in nursing, I find myself to be exceptionally well-organized, creative and self motivated. I
genuinely like talking to people, I believe in people and their potential; and therefore I empower them to make decisions and be
accountable. I am empathetic and understand the dilemmas that Individuals encounter. People turn to me with their problems,

7/2010-PRESENT-Souris Valley Care Center-Velva, North Dakota-Availability for charge responsibilities and medication administration for
residential population.
1991-4/2010-All About Staffing (an HCA-Columbia affiliate), Sunrise, Florida-Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and
leadership in the anticipation, assessment and planning for the care of the patient in critical need. Demonstrated case management capabilities, under
contract, involving QA & utilization review. This is inclusive of the PACU, ER, ambulatory care clinic, and ICU/CCU environments. Contracted 6
months, working every weekend in the ICU or Pediatric units of the Plantation General Hospital facility. More references from this facility, available

1995-5/2010 - Surgi-Staff Nursing Agency – PACU, Pre-Post op, Endoscopy responsibilities in the perioperative atmosphere, incorporating the
needs of both inpatient and outpatient environments at Hialeah and Palmetto General Hospitals, as well as other Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Boca
Raton/Delray Beach, and Coral Gables based facilities.
9/2007-3/2009 – Intellistaff/Msn nursing agency –icu, ccu, er, and pacu experience; also Contracted with the Broward Board of Education to work
for Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School for the School Year as the clinic nurse, last year.
7/2005-6/2010 – Holy Cross Hospital, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida – Per-Diem staff IV Team Nurse. To obtain IV access for those who are too difficult to
be obtained by the floor staff.
1986-1991 – All Better Nursing, North Miami, Florida-Patient care centered focus for Miami-based hospital facilities, doing critical care, PACU, ER
work; namely at Hialeah Hospital and Palmetto General Hospital. Was placed in the Miccosukee Indian Reservation, as their clinic Nurse; and
found it extremely rewarding and contributory to the betterment of the tribe.

1985-1986 – Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey – First critical care position. Regional Burn Unit responsibilities. Attended a
three-hospital critical care course. Was instructed on the priorities of the critical care setting.
1981-1986 – Orange Memorial Hospital, Orange, New Jersey – Demonstrated abilities and skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate plan of
care for the hospitalized patient in all departments. Per-diem float status, working mostly full-time hours. Cross-trained to function appropriate in
the Newborn nursery, Postpartum, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Telemetry, Oncology and medical-Surgical Units, completing the position responsibilities
by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate time frame.
1979-1981 – United Hospitals of Newark (Presbyterian Hospital) – Premier nursing position. Was placed into a nine-week post graduate educational
program, collaborating smooth transition from nursing school to the nursing workforce.

In addition to the numerous and various continuing education studies through the years, I am a graduate of two complete critical care courses, ACLS
certification, BLS certification, registered nurse licensure in three states, real estate licensure in two states, and am capable of typing over 75 words
per minute with integral computer skills. I am fluent in Spanish and English; can speak, read and write in both languages. I am trained and certified
to apply permanent makeup, scar camophlage, and areola repigmentation s/p mastectomy & breast reconstruction for breast cancer.
Personal
I was born on Miami Beach, grew up in Northern New Jersey. I married in 1970, divorced in 1979. Raised my daughter by myself. She is now 34
years’ old, and I am the proud grandmother of two boys; one 13 years’ old; the other 18 months’ old. They live in New York State. I crochet and
love all sorts of handcrafts, have taught racquetball, was a health club pro, have modeled, and used to work out frequently…which I have been
starting again. I love to read, bike ride, roller blade, and wander through new areas. I love the country and miss the simple life. I am an avid animal
lover, have several birds which I breed. I still love my artwork and paint once in a while. I do some photography of which I was published and I
have a goal to write a couple of novels. I do look forward to continuing my education in the spring of next year, and I am accepted & matriculated
into an online R.N. to BSN & MSN program.
