. Managed architect's branch office and staff of 12; restored client

extensions of the Program Management contract valued at $14,780,000.
Received 2003 Merit Award for Outstanding Achievements.
. Organized and managed architect's field office at major Northeast
airport bolstering client confidence, directing daily activities of
staff of seven and administering 42 construction contracts valued at
approximately $83 million over three year period. Projects were
consistently completed on time and within budget.
. Implemented computerized contract tracking system which automated
review of contractor's Request for Payment submitted to owner of
facility under construction. Checking was now accomplished in one hour
vs three days, and number of owner returned invoices was reduced from
22% to zero.
. Introduced quality assurance/quality control procedures which lowered
production errors over 70%.
. Instituted new technology, including computerization, overlay drafting
techniques and Computer Aided Design and Drafting, which reduced
production time by approximately 30%.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Associate Manager, Design Architecture, Opus Architects & Engineers,
Phoenix, Arizona (2006-2009).
Responsible for Contract management, processing contract invoices, plan
review, code review and interpretation, quality assurance and quality
control. Projects included Class "A" office, retail, lifestyle center,
and industrial complexes. LEED consultant for Western Region Projects.
Report to and support regional vice-president.
Director of Architecture - Commercial Division, Peterson Architecture &
Associates, Scottsdale, Arizona (2005-2006).
Responsible for the direction, management and coordination of
commercial project division. Duties include fee management, scheduling,
staff utilization, mentoring, monitoring, and quality assurance. Office
condo, small commercial office and a 70,000 s.f. luxury golf resort
clubhouse and range house.
Facilities Design Manager, DMJM Aviation, Phoenix, Arizona (2004-2005).
Responsible for the management and coordination of facilities designer
for the Automated People Mover Stations at Terminals 3 and 4, East
Economy Parking Lot Station and connection Station to the light rail
station for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Program Manager; Corlett, Skaer & DeVoto, Phoenix, Arizona (2001-2004).
Responsible for the management of the Residential Sound Assistance
Program for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Managed the RSAP
team including staff of 12; additionally: GIS consultant, 2 Public
Relations consultants, DBE consultant, Title Company consultant,
Construction Management consultant, FAA coordination consultant,
Bidding consultant, Partnering Facilitation consultant, 2 design firms,
Acoustical consultant and environmental consultant. Program consisted
of the sound reduction insulation of 1800 single family homes to be
completed in a 4 year period. 2003 Merit Award.
Project Architect, Merrick and Company, Aurora, CO (2000-2001).
Responsible for directing, scheduling, coordination, quality assurance,
and mentoring of the architectural staff. Projects included: the
prototypical design and implementation of a start-up web hosting
company providing five-9 reliability. First 2 facilities were Denver
(50,000 sf) and San Diego (75,000sf.) Base Engineering and Maintenance
Facility, Ellsworth Air Force Base, Rapid City, SD (Corps of Engineers
project)
Project Architect for McMurdo Station, Antarctica, Antarctic Support
Associates, Englewood, CO. Government contractor to the National
Science Foundation, Office of Polar Programs; United States Antarctic
Program. (1997-2000).
Responsible for design, coordination of contract documents,
specifications, material and equipment procurements, cost estimates,
schedules and contract administration. Coordinate logistic,
acquisitions of bids, selection of vendors, award of subcontracts,
arrange for delivery of material and equipment to port for shipment to
McMurdo Station to meet requirements for design/build projects.
Projects included: Reconfiguration of Hazardous Waste Handling
Facility, Remodel of original (c. 1965) Subsistence Building including
total Kitchen, Servery and Dining Hall remodel, renovations to 2nd
floor housing units, and prototypical design of prefabricated modular
dormitory housing units. Fire Suppression System upgrades to Lower Case
Dormitory buildings.

Responsible for coordinating production of contract documents and
contract administration. Projects included: Stapleton Development
Corporation, Visitors Center; U. S. Mint Employee Entrance; U. S. Mint
