Maintain weld on various items using a variety of processes (manual arc, submerged arc metallic inert gas) for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items ensuring safety.
Manually guides electrode or gun along weld line, maintaining length of arc and speed of movement to form specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from color of metal, sound of weld, and size of molten puddle.
Responsible for stick welding with welding electrodes of 3.15 mm, 4 mm and 5 mm.
Implement mig-mag welding with 1.2 mm core wire.
Handles sub-merged arc welding with 3.5 mm, 4 mm & 5mm core wire thickness.
Expertise in dealing with submerged arc welding by Agglomerated Flux and Baked Flux.

Handle welding of spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead, tubs & pipe heavy plates.
