• As the director of development, my main duties were to increase revenue and manage all the
clinical trials for the group. We were doing at least five independent trials at any given time.

Medical Director in charge of all educational materials for clinicians, nurses and sales representatives.
The materials were used to be instructional as well as to give clinicians the comfort level they needed to
prescribe a nephrotoxic drug in the treatment of psoriasis.
• Attended AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) Annual meetings and gave presentations in
the use of Cyclosporine in the treatment of severe psoriasis.
• Reviewed all promotional and educational materials for Sandimmune and Sandostatin for both
accuracy and medical content. A library was created and cross referenced for all peer reviewed
articles for the drugs that we were involved with.
• Launched new products created NDA
• Supporting clients as well and agency product managers
• Created and recruited national expert panels
• Assisted National experts in writing peer reviewed articles. Met with clients regarding new
projects for the agency.

CLINICAL TRIALS
Miles Laboratory / Bayer Phase III and IV Intravenous Ciprofloxacin:
• Intravenous Ciprofloxacin :A two year clinical trial on the efficacy of intravenous Cipro. A group
of one hundred patients who were undergoing prostatectomy were given the drug pre post and
intra operative. Blood and tissue levels were collected confirming the efficacy of the study drug.
I participated in setting the study protocols as well as doing the clinical study and publishing the
results. This resulted in FDA approval.
Merck Phase IV Fosamax:
• A patient questionnaire was created pre treatment, Patients were given Fosamax and bone density
studies were performed. Final results are still pending.
• Fosamax Effectiveness Study with Clinical follow-up results.
Novartis / Sandoz Pharma Phase III and IV Sandimmune, Neoral, Sandostatin and Lotrel:
• Primarily responsible for reviewing clinical trials in the use of Cyclosporin in the
treatment of Psoriasis and wrote and presented educational material. I also was an educational
source at the AAD Annual Meeting, and acted as a liaison between the pharmaceutical company
and the physicians and nurses. I was involved in trying to place Sandimmune in a proper position
to deal with generics which were soon becoming available. I was responsible for developing a
safety profile for clinicians who were not comfortable using nephrotoxic drugs, and being able to
answer all questions and concerns and worked in a backup role in the launch of the Neoral.

Women’s Health HPV Vaccines - The pre launch of an HPV vaccine and its role in preventing Cervical

Incontinence - Multiple different drugs used to treat the various causes of incontinence. OAB
Nephrology and Urology - Treated hundreds of dialysis patients in all phases of renal failure and renal
impairment. I was responsible for all aspects of Urologic care.
