• Renovated a DAF based waste water treatment system replacing with a biosystem based

• Successfully Implemented a Team-based production operation in a non- Union setting
allowing the manufacturing group to work flexible work weeks and turned productivity and
quality issues from negative to positive.
• Lead the closure of a large CAW Factory operation in a small town with no negative Union
strike or backlash, resulting in over 65% re-employment of workers at the time of closure,
and no negative media throughout the process, leaving behind reasonable and favorable
community relations.
• Successfully renovated work teams in two departments in a Stridently- Unionized Factory
such that these teams drove a turn-around in financial results that enabled them to earn a
gain- sharing bonus for the first time.
• Positive, constructive labor relations: Settled 5 different contracts and developed favorable
relationships with 7 different Unions in three different countries. No Strikes; reduced
Arbitrations, minimal Grievances
• Reduced handling steps, thus multiple inventories and item numbers of WIP items by
straightening product flow in finishing operations. Netting the reduction of 15 labor positions
and $500,000 of expenses for handling operations.
• Re-established working Safety programs and standards of application to stop the tide of
recordable accidents and develop a culture of Human Safety.
• Reduced lead times and inventories by 30% and improved freshness of the product to the
shelf in Retail outlets through improved planning and scheduling at the factory.
• Implemented SPC weight control and check weighing to reduce giveaway and improve
reconstitution ability of powdered gravies and sauces which yielded cost savings and a
reduction of consumer complaints.
